The course aims to train a digital design and manufacturing technician for industry and manufacturing 4.0.

The Manufacturing Designer works in the intermediate phase between the project (creative design) of a product and its realization, choosing the most suitable manufacturing techniques and with the skills to move in the world of Digital Transformation.

The Manufacturing Designer develops product engineering and industrialization skills thanks to advanced digital skills in:

- indications of use of materials and knowledge of technologies

- methodological approach and solid modeling for product development

- choice and use of digital manufacturing tools

- user-centered design methodologies, communication techniques and marketing models

 

The course is characterized by a highly applicative and work-oriented approach. The teaching is in fact organized into integrated training modules that aim to develop the skills actually required in the professional context.

Teaching is entrusted to professionals, managers and entrepreneurs of the sector who bring to the classroom their expertise also built with practical experience.
