Edutainment is the fusion of Educational and Entertainment.

We could translate it as “educate by playing” and consider it as the new frontier of the “classic” ludendo docere; in fact, Edutainment indicates forms of communication that make learning processes fun.

Nowadays, edutainment, thanks to the development and spread of new technologies, has a real exploit. Fostering learning, making it faster, more immediate and safer is one of the main objectives of edutainment. There is no doubt, in fact, that learning by doing, learning in groups, developing an active attitude towards information favours the consolidation of notions, increases the pleasure of knowledge and, in the long run, guarantees undoubted economic and social benefits.
